( nee Janesky) Age 72, of Muskego, WI, was born to Eternal Life on June 22, 2021, with her husband and sons by her side. Jay was born in Manitowoc, WI on November 21, 1948, to her parents Frank and Muriel Janesky who preceded her in death. Living out her childhood in Manitowoc, she met the love of her life, Gene Gospodarek in junior high school and married him in 1970. They enjoyed 50 beautiful years together. Jay was a devoted wife to Gene, and loving mother to Wade (Michelle), Tad (Daniel) and Jesse (Valerie). Proud grandmother to Regan, Finley, Declan, CaliAnne and Chance. After a 25-year long career with the City of New Berlin, Jay retired in 2015. She loved taking annual vacations with Gene to Sanibel Island, FL and Door County, WI. She had a fondness for animals, especially the family dogs. There was never a holiday where the Gospodarek household was not full of life and love. Family gatherings were always at the center of her heart, and she delighted in baking cookies and other holiday treats for everyone. When her household was not full, she enjoyed going out to dinner with her family and friends. She had a special knack for giving gifts and sending cards to her loved ones and friends for every occasion. The thought of spreading love through cards was important to her. Her spirit and personality could light up a room, and she never shied away from a hug or an opportunity to get on the dance floor. Jay's life was a blessing to so many. Special thanks to the Waukesha Memorial Hospital, Intensive Care Unit for all their guidance and support. The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, July 9 at St. Leonard Catholic Church, W173S7743 Westwood Dr, Muskego, WI 53150.
