Jasmine Hailey Parros, 29, affectionately referred to as “Jaz,” transitioned June 29, 2022. She was born in Denver, Colorado, on April 22, 1993, the youngest daughter of Rick U. Parros and Staci Lynn Denmark.
Jasmine was a beautiful, bright, and affectionate young woman with an infectious smile. Her warm and sincere heart left a lasting impression on everyone. Jasmine loved people as much as she loved food and she always found ways to bring the two together.
Jasmine attended both Valor Christian and Cherokee Trails high schools. At 16 years old, a mission trip to Uganda and Ethiopia shifted her worldview and perspective, opening her eyes to the impact she could have on others. During the three-month stay, Jasmine assisted to build a school out of hand-formed bricks, leveled fields for supply plane runways, and ministered to the local village children. That summer her love for people and her heart to serve others was awakened.
After high school, Jasmine attended Utah State University where she followed courses in International Business. In 2016, inspired to challenge herself both professionally and personally, Jasmine embarked on a career in sales. She was passionate about developing her skills as a leader and is remembered by those she worked with as a community builder, trusted colleague, and loyal friend. An exceptional employee, Jasmine had an openness of spirit and an intuitive understanding of people’s needs. Enthusiastically described as being, “genetically engineered to be the perfect salesperson” —Jaz could make anyone feel seen.
Jasmine was adored by family, fellow parishioners, pals, colleagues, and customers alike. Empathetic and engaged, she truly cared about the individuals around her. A close family friend and the manager of Spa Brokers where Jasmine worked two and a half years, would tease her that, “every time they went out, she would make at least four new friends.”
In 2021, Jasmine joined A2Z Sync as their Performance Manager. She headed a team responsible for customer relations, increasing sales, and reinventing the client experience. Beyond her many professional achievements, Jasmine was the light of the office—the atmosphere lifted the moment she entered a room.
Jasmine’s happy place was appreciating the tranquility of nature, hiking in the mountains and enjoying the cool air of Mount Princeton Hot Springs. She was the proud mother of two fur babies and leaves behind Griffin, a blonde Labrador mix and Asher, an Australian Border Collie.
In addition to her parents, Jasmine is survived by her older sister, Chloe; her younger brothers, Isaiah and Caleb; as well as a host of extended family, close friends and loved ones.
