Savannah, GA- Janie Pearl Harrison Perry, 66, of 1668 Fort Argyle Road, departed this life on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Augusta University Medical Center in Augusta, GA. Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late James Arthur Drennon and the late Mary M. Thomas Drennon. She was a retired RN. She was a member of Mt. Herman Baptist Church and attended Liberty Springs Baptist Church.
She leaves to cherish her memories, three sons, Willie J. Harrison, Jr. of Aiken, SC, Curtis L. Harrison of Johnston, SC and Derrick L. Harrison of Edgefield, SC; three daughters, Nakeisha R. (Rodney) Stevens and LaShanda R. Harrison, both of Edgefield, SC and Jessica Harrison of Trenton, SC; five brothers, James A. Drennon of Saluda, SC, Willie (Faye) Drennon of McCormick, SC, Bernard Drennon and Mike Drennon, both of Greenwood and Levi (Shelethia) Drennon of Augusta, Ga; three sisters, Sandra (Glenis) Randall, Eula Mae (Andrew) Payton and Nikki Drennon, all of Greenwood; thirty grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services are 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Mt. Herman Baptist Church, conducted by Elder Andrew Thomas. The body will be placed in the church at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family is at the home of a daughter, Nakeisha Stevens, 515 Bauskett Street in Edgefield, SC. Online condolences may be sent to [email protected].
