Janice Sue Clark Dodd

Janice Sue Clark Dodd was born January 10th, 1936, in El Paso, Texas. She passed away on February 19th, 2025, at the age of 89. Known as Janice, Jan, Mom, and GranJan by her family and friends. She graduated from Sunset High School in Dallas in 1954. She was married to her husband of forty nine years, Billy Richard Dodd on July 16th, 1954. She is preceded in death by her father, James Alexander Clark, her mother Aubrey Lerline Clark, her younger brother Clyde Kenneth Clark, her husband Billy Richard Dodd, and her granddaughter Munhui Josey. She is survived by her sons, James Bradley Dodd and Kelly Michael Dodd, her daughter in law ChunHui Dodd, her grandchildren James Dodd and Sueyon Dodd, their spouses Nafiye and Joel, and her six great grandchildren Jasmine, Kaylee, Jayden, Jeremiah, Asher, and Connor. Janice went to North Texas State University for two years and then graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Mountain View College at the age of 43. She was the co-owner and CFO of The Nailhouse Inc. with her husband for 19 years, but her whole life was dedicated to her family, parents, husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved and cherished God, family, honesty, Country, and her neighbors, and always tried to help others.Her love and her heart were as large as God could give all of us. She will always be remembered. Her funeral service will be at 1:00PM Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Jeter & Son Funeral Home, with visitation an hour before the service. Burial will follow at Laurel Land Cemetery.
