Janette (Jan) Schrupp, 82 year old resident of Cushing, MN, formerly of Houston, TX, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at her residence. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Faith Lutheran Church in Little Falls, with Pastor Mark Johnson officiating. A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 PM on Wednesday, March 26 at Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, and from 10 to 11 AM on Thursday at the church. Burial will take place at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery north of Little Falls, MN. Caring for Jan and her family is the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, MN.
Jan Bishop was born on June 27, 1942, in Houston, TX to the late J.T. and Lydia (Fenske) Bishop. She graduated high school from Houston Vo-Tech. She was united in marriage to Larry Schrupp on March 24, 1962. Jan was a homemaker and also worked for 10 years at Health Partners, formerly known as Group Health, where she did what was most important to her; helping others. Jan retired in 1997. In her spare time, Jan enjoyed going to church, Bible Study Fellowship in Brainerd, and crafting.
Jan is survived by her husband, Larry; sons, Toby Schrupp of Randall, MN, and Troy (Pamela) Schrupp of Foley, MN; daughter, Tracy Schrupp of Randall, MN, and 6 grandchildren.
Jan was preceded in death by parents, J.T. and Lydia Bishop; brothers, John Bishop, Raymond Bishop, Vernon Bishop; nephews, Raymond Jo Bishop and Robert Bishop; grandparents, Emil E. Fenske, Agusta Bertha Fenske, Jacob Bishop, and Nancy McKenzie.
