Janet worked many jobs over her lifetime to include nurses aid, waitress, fast food manager and even assembled grenades at a munitions plant. After retirement she helped her husband in the prison ministry at Cecil Detention Center for many years. When the upkeep on the house and property became too much, she moved in with her daughter Ginni for several years in Willow Grove PA before moving to Milford DE in 2015.She lived with another daughter Cindy until she elected to move into a long-term care facility about 3 years ago.
Janet was popular with the staff, often sharing her candies and cookies stash which she never seemed to run out. She liked her Diet Pepsi and apparently, they were kept hidden for herself. She will be known an independent woman with strong opinions for which she was not shy to express. Janet will also be known to have a good heart, often helping friends and family when they were in need.
