Our light has dimmed.
Jane Hayes, beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother to be, passed away suddenly at her assisted living facility on Friday, February 19, 2021.
The daughter of the late George and Florence Hermsdorf of Manchester. Jane was a graduate of West High School and an Alumna of Keene State College.
She was a dedicated teacher at the Bartlett Elementary School until her retirement. After a day of teaching, she would unwind with a coffee and a donut.
She loved the ocean and the scent of salt air. She spent every chance she could at the beach, whether it be walking, swimming, or having a picnic along the coast. If she was not at the beach, you could find her at Newfound Lake, enjoying the company of her grandchildren and their friends. Her grandchildren meant everything to her and she was everything to them.
Jane is survived by her son Robert Loos of Goffstown, her daughter Susan Murray and husband William of Rye, grandchildren Nicholas Loos, Aaron Murray and wife Christine, Alisha Murray and partner Andrew DiPrato, Kasey Murray and partner Darren McNeil.
We will miss you every day. We love you.
There will be a graveside service at the Pine Grove Cemetery on Brown Avenue in Manchester on Thursday, February 25 at 11:00am. A celebration of life will be held in the late Summer 2021 on a date TBD.
Arrangements are by the Farrell Funeral Home, Portsmouth, NH.
