Jane A. Morgan, RN of Plano, Texas, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022 in Grapevine, Texas. Jane was born near Rushville, Indiana. She graduated from Rushville High School and attended nursing school at St. Joseph's Hospital in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. She moved to Dallas, Texas in 1971 to train for the first heart transplant team. Jane worked as a surgical nurse at Presbyterian Hospital Dallas and on the craino/facial surgery team at Medical City Hospital Dallas.
Jane enjoyed many hobbies and loved traveling the world. She was one of a kind and will be greatly missed by all who know her. Jane was preceded in death by John W. Morgan, father; Naomi Whitton-Morgan-Kilgore, mother and Robert D. Nicholas, brother-in-law.
Jane is survived by her sisters, June E. Morgan, Euless, Texas; Jean E. Nicholas, Cumming, Georgia and Janet L. O'Dea (spouse Patrick) Grapevine, Texas. She is also survived by nieces, Shannon Ferguson (spouse Sean) and nephews, Patrick Nicholas and Michael O'Dea (spouse Taryn); 3 great-nieces and 2 great-nephews, 1 great-great niece and 1 great-great nephew.
Visitation will be held from 10-11am in Wednesday, September 28th with a memorial service to follow at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Jane will be laid to rest at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
