James Lowe Verhey, age 78, passed away at home on Saturday October 28, 2023. James was born in Everett, WA on March 21, 1945, to James Verhey and Geraldine Mary Lowe. James graduated from Cascade High School in in Everett in 1963. He has worked in the retail/hardware industry as manager of Pay n Pak and Ernst stores. James and Tena Verhey have been married for the last 39 years. James' lifelong dream was to buy a Shelby Cobra which he did in 2008 and enjoyed it since. He also enjoyed coin collecting. James is survived by his sister; Patricia Verhey Norton, his wife; Tena Wilmot Verhey, sons; Tony, Kirk, Mike & Jeff: seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Services have been entrusted to Clifton Funeral Home/Affordable Memorial Care in Clifton, Colorado
