James L. Todd, born on Oct. 15, 1964 in Marinette County, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 6, 2020 at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa, WI. Jim is survived by his loving wife, Victoria (nee Van Ryzin), his dear children Zackary, Crystal and Jared and his fond parents, Ilene (nee Charlson) and Carl Hosterman. He is the brother of Denise (Mike) Mayer and Jeff Todd, the son-in-law of Donna and Ronald Van Ryzin, the brother-in-law of Tracey Van Ryzin and Tim Van Ryzin, the uncle of Nicole (Kevin) Waller, Kirsten and Maddie Van Ryzin and Amanda Kostansek and the great-uncle of Huxley Waller. Jim is further survived by other relatives and many friends.
Jim's greatest joy was watching all three of his kids play hockey. For 23 years he was a part of the Ozaukee Ice Dogs and worked the bench for many of those years. If he wasn't at the rink, he would be watching hockey on TV when not watching the Packers. He also coached little league, was a boy scout leader, bowled his entire life and was proud of his 300 game, golfed with his buddies, and he had a love of the outdoors that included camping with friends and old classmates, hiking, rafting and playing games. Known for his ability to fix anything, Jim was great at jerry rigging things when parts were not available, and he loved to tackle any home remodeling project. Jim was a hard worker, first working at EST Company, then Waste Management, following that at Spiro and lastly at Miller Bakery. He will truly be missed by many.
