James "Skipper" Teague, of Woodstock, GA, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 14, 2021 at the age of 73.
Skipper was born on July 24, 1947 in Marietta, GA to the late James H. and Ruth Teague. He grew up as the eldest of three and attended Sprayberry High School. Immediately after graduation, Skipper enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served during the Vietnam War as a medical assistant. He went on to work for four decades as an operating room technician in Georgia, Vermont, California, and lastly Florida where he retired from Bay Medical Center in Panama City.
Skipper is survived by his daughter Stacey Teague; his son Joel (Kelly) Teague; his grandchildren Tiffany (Taylor) Horne, Josiah (Moriah) Teague, Caleb Teague, Cassidy Teague, and Jude Teague; his brother Rhett (Lynn) Teague; his sister Sandy Freeman; and four great-grandchildren.
At the family's request, no public services will be held. Skipper will be buried at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. Also, the family respectfully declines flowers and donations, but prayers and condolences are gladly accepted. Condolences may be sent to 111 Bevington Lane, Woodstock, GA 30188.
