Warner Robins, GA - Former NY resident James Anthony Taylor (Jim), 82, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at his home in Warner Robins, Georgia. Born August 25, 1940, in Rome to the late Anthony and Julia (Mroz) Taylor, legends of the Rome business community. His father was the owner of the Washington Market. His mother owned and operated the Frozen Cow for 55 years, till the age of 80. He graduated from Rome Free Academy in 1958. Since retirement, James has spent the cooler months in Georgia with his kids. Home to him was always in New York, even when he could no longer make the trip. He loved the cooler weather, the beauty of the countryside and his cherished family and friends, especially his aunt Gen. James is survived by his son, Craig Taylor and his wife Andrea of Warner Robins, GA and daughter, Wendy Taylor Tacker and her husband Michael of Suwanee, GA. Four grandchildren: Jake Taylor, Rachel Taylor Baxter (Dylan), Alena Tacker, and Jenny Tacker. A dear aunt Genevieve (Mroz) Fuller. Arrangements are with Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory in Warner Robins, GA. At his request, no services will be held. Condolences may be sent to 404 Watermill Way, Suwanee, GA 30024.
