James Robert Russell, age 90 of Canton, passed away Friday, January 5, 2024 at Aultman Hospital.
He was born July 22, 1933, in Butler, PA the son of the late Norman and Alta (Bailey) Russell.
James retired from Akron University after many years of service.
He was a Marine veteran serving during the Korean War.
James is survived by his sons, Curtis (Jennifer) Russell of Spartanburg, SC, Eric Russell of Richmond, VA; two grandchildren, Curtis Russell II and Kayla Russell.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Russell.
