James McFerrin "Jim", age 71, of Hermitage, passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his parents George and Ethel McFerrin; sister Pat Carlisle; and brother Glenn McFerrin.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years Petronia "Tonie" McFerrin; children Cindy (Gregg) Hale, Jamie McFerrin, Grandchildren Whitney (Caleb) Barrett and Abbey (Colton) Haun; great grandchildren Watson, Caroline, and Nora Kate; and other family members.
Jim retired after 30 years with Freightliner of Knoxville as New Truck Sales Manager and he enjoyed golfing, boating, fishing, and the University of Alabama sports, Roll Tide!
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff of St. Thomas West Hospital and would specifically like to recognize Lem, Ashley, Meghan, and Katie for their kind and compassionate care.
Per the decedents wishes there will be no formal Service scheduled.
