MacDonald, James Mr. James A. MacDonald, age 75 of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully Monday March 26, 2018. He was preceded in death by his son Joseph, his parents Angus and Marguerite, and his sister Mary Ellen Howard. Surviving are: his loving wife Rosalie; his children Mary Ellen (Hans) Paulson, Jim (Heather) MacDonald Jr., Theresa MacDonald, Tammy MacDonald, and Shane MacDonald; 2 grandchildren Shauna Paulson and Olivia MacDonald; his sister Christine MacDonald; and many more relatives. Jim was a veteran of the US Navy during the Cuban Crisis. He retired from Haworth Furniture after many years. Jim was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday April 2 at 10:00 AM. He will repose one hour prior at church. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Saturday March 31 from 12:00 Noon to 3:00 PM at Arsulowicz Brothers Stocking Mortuary, 585 Stocking Ave NW. Memorial contributions can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
