Air Force Veteran, age 78, of Largo, FL passed away. James was born in Clearwater, FL and raised on a citrus grove in the Seminole area. Upon completing his tour of duty, he returned to the Largo area and was employed by E.C.I. (Electronic Communications, Inc.). While employed in field service, he was assigned to the 89th Military Airlift Wing and trained NCO personnel in the maintenance of communications on Air Force One, Air Force Two, and other aircraft utilized to transport high ranking U.S. Government officials. He leaves two daughters, Heidi Nida (David) and Kathy Lane (Gary); four Grandchildren; four Great Grandchildren; three Nephews and five Nieces. A celebration of life for James will be held Sunday 1/8/2023 from 1-5pm at The Historic Largo Feed Store, 105 Central Park Dr, Largo, FL 33771. James will be interned in Bay Pines National Cemetery with military honors on Monday 1/9/2023 at 12:15pm.
