James "Jim" Steven Krugjohann, 69, moved to heaven unexpectedly due to a heart attack February 15, 2022, in Knoxville, TN. Jim was formerly of Rockford, IL. He was consistently involved in church ministry at The Church at Bennington Place with his wife Linda and family. He served the Lord in his alarm systems work at Gallaher & Associates where they also became family to him. He served in the United States Army in Korea during the Vietnam War as a ham radio operator. Jim was a joy to be around and made it his personal mission to make others smile with his bear hugs, jokes, and passion for Jesus. He loved his church family and personal family dearly. He may have left this earth suddenly, but he lived a long-life pursuing Jesus and helping others.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Pastor Linda (Carlson); son, Joel Krugjohann and his wife, Shawna and their children, Jace, Pierce, and Skyler; daughter, Abby Richardson (Krugjohann) and her husband, Stephen and their children, Amelie and Lincoln; brother, Jeff Krugjohann, Ginger Krugjohann; sister, Kathy Matthews (Krugjohann) and her husband, Paul. Jim is predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Dolores Krugjohann (Freseman); and in-laws, Pastor Marvin and Shirley Carlson (Clark).
