James E. (Jim) Jackson, 71, of Brooklet, passed away Saturday, August 4th, 2018 at Candler Hospital with his family by his side.
He was born August 15th, 1946 to Edward N. Jackson and Pauline K. Jackson in Rome (LIndale), Georgia. He grew up in LaFayette, Georgia and was a graduate of LaFayette High School, Class of 1964. He was retired from both CSX and the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam, Desert Storm and other conflicts.
He is survived by his daughter, Jayme Jackson Conner; son, Alan Jackson; grandchildren, Johnny Conner, Jr., Victoria (Conner) Myers and Hunter Jackson.
