passed away on the morning of July 4th, 2022. He was the beloved partner of Jackie Francis and loved father of Mike and Bryan Francis their sons. He enjoyed his beautiful granddaughters, Hope Francis daughter of Mike and Juleana Francis and Savanna and Reagan Francis daughters of Bryan and Becky Francis. He was the last brother to pass away of three deceased sisters, Sue, Karla and Jenny and one deceased brother, Terry. Jim's life's passion for many years was law enforcement and Children and Family Services. He worked on St. Pete Beach for a short duration as a patrol officer and detective before residing in Pasco County as Chief Deputy for the Sheriff's Dept. in New Port Richey. He also graduated from the FBI Academy soon after joining the Sheriff's Dept. Jim was a veteran of United States Air Force during the early 1960s when the Viet Nam war was declared. He was a member of Pasadena Community Church. His passing will be sorely felt by his family and many friends. The Celebration of his Life will occur on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Brett Funeral Home in St. Petersburg at 11:00. A brief reception will follow the service. A private interment will take place at at Bay Pines National Cemetery. Guestbook @
