James "Jim" Daniel Cole passed away on December 29, 2021, at the age of 80 in his home in Covington, Louisiana.
Jim served as Newpark Resources President and CEO, as well as Board Chair, from 1976 - 2005, and was noted by Wall Street for bringing the company to the New York Stock Exchange twice, as well as spearheading several innovative technological solutions that shaped the entire industry as well as internationally expanding the company.
