James R. Chedester Jr. , 66 Aug 27, 1953 - Feb 26, 2020 James Rankin Chedester Jr. of Hagerstown, MD went to be with our Lord Jesus on February 26, 2020.
He was the son of June Chedester and the late James Chedester Sr.
Jim loved Jesus and his family. He especially loved the Patriots and watching Law and Order.
He started his career as a plumber, then process server and was security supervisor at Frederick Town Mall. Most recently, he was semi-retired and driving for Lyft.
He loved his children and his grandchildren with all his heart.
He is survived by his wife, Jill Chedester (McKinney); his son and three daughters, Bryan Murphy, Jennifer Knox and husband, Scott, April Chedester, and Jacklyn Martinez and husband, Nate. He is also survived by his mother, June; brother, Tom Chedester; and two sisters, Bev Greene and husband, Bob, and Kim Sands and husband, Johnny. His favorites are his grandchildren, Alyssa Wilson, Bryan, Cameron and Autumn Murphy, Isabella Knox, Brad Ashmus, and Robin, Autumn, Eden and Ella Martinez.
Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Timmy; and his father, James Sr.
A celebration of life is to be determined and will be announced to family and friends.
Donations may be made to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Myersville, MD in Jim's honor.
