Jim C. Bryant, 89, of Orfordville, WI, died on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Beloit Memorial Hospital.
He was born on January 1, 1933 in Hudson, MI, the son of Nota (Kelly) Bryant. Jim married Doris Clickner on June 3, 1960 in Racine, WI. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Wheaton College, Wheaton, IL.
From 1966 until his retirement in 1997, Jim taught history, math, and civics at Parkview High School. During the summers he worked for the school district painting classrooms. He also volunteered as his church's treasurer for many years.
Jim is survived by his wife, Doris; daughters, Jessica (Don) Uitich and Janis (Les) Soule; grandchildren: Ian, Asa, Rebekah, and Elizabeth; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; infant daughter, Kelly and brother, Jerry.
A Memorial Service for Jim will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Grace Evangelical Free Church, 6403 S County Rd D, Beloit, WI, with Pastor Gary Beeman officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery, Racine, WI. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.
