James Samuel "Boo-boo" Bradley, 62, Harrodsburg, KY, former husband of Kathy Lynn Warner, died , Sunday, August 28 at the Health Park Medical Center, Ft. Myers, FL., after years of battling sarcoidosis. In spite of the pain and disappointments, he always had and shared a positive spirit. Sam was baptized at an early age, and revived his relationship with the Lord in later years. Born September 14, 1959, in Athens, GA, he was the son of the late James Lonnie and Willa Mae (White) Bradley. Sam was very active in youth sports and later into the high school teams. He coached football for Danville and Woodford County High Schools.
Survivors include: his ex-wife and caregiver; Kathy Warner Bradley, one step daughter: Kimberly Loran (Jonathan) Murphy and step son: and Charles Jeremy Sapp of Lexington, grandsons; Jacob and John Luke Murphy, a sister: Susie Nally of Florida and a niece and nephew; Betsy Mitchell and Brad (Sarah) Nally of Lexington, special group of brothers; Jay Mattingly, Michael Osborne, Richie Hamilton, Jeff Sidebottom, Ellery Milburn and Brad Settles. He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Lonnie "Joey" Bradley.
Visitation and Funeral were held at the Springfield Baptist Church, Friday, September 1.
