Webster: Tuesday, May 31, 2022, age 94. Predeceased by his wife, Mary. He leaves his four children, Belle (Jerry) Bulmahn, Peg Barringer (Gerard Dube), Brian Barringer (Amy), Janet (Tom) Jenkins, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and companion, Elmiranda Stivers (and family).
Jim retired from Xerox after more than 30 years. He was involved with the Webster Fire Department most of his life -- as a volunteer fireman, past president, working booths at the carnival and still attending meetings in his 90s. Jim was a Korean War Veteran and belonged to the Webster VFW Post 9483. An avid boater in early years and passionate card player all of his life, Jim was a regular at Webster Recreation Euchre and other card games around town.
Calling hours will be at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster, NY on June 7, 2:00 to 4:00 pm with a Memorial Service following at 4:00 pm. Memorial donations may be directed to Holy Trinity Hope House Ministry, 1450 Ridge, Rd., Webster, NY 14580.
