James W. Allessie of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, formerly Fredonia NY passed away December 4, 2020.
Born January 20, 1946 to the late Elo More and Sam Allessie in Harrisburg, PA, he was a graduate of Dunkirk Industrial High School 1966.
He was employed at Greater Buffalo Press 1968 where he started his printing career as pressman.
He also Worked at Buffalo News Press and moved to Ohio 2003 for employment at the Akron Beacon Journal, retiring in 2007, but worked part time there until 2013.
James enjoyed playing golf, socializing with friends, family time with children and grandkids, an outstanding father who was also their best friend and mentor.
One would rarely see Jim without a glass or a fork in his hands.
Preceded in death by wife, Frances, he is survived by daughters, Tracy (Devin) Call and Pam (Scott) Lane of Ohio, Donna (David) Lange and Kim (Roger) Swaney both of Texas; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-children.
Private services and entombment will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery, Dunkirk, NY.
