James (Jim) Adams passed away on November 21, 2021, at the age of 77 after a courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease. Jim is survived by Judy, his dear and devoted wife of 51 years, David, his beloved son, Dawn his daughter-in-law, and his precious Shih Tzus, Lilly and Coco.
Jim put himself through Western Carolina University where he received his business degree. He excelled in his professions of District Manager of Social Security in Gainesville, Georgia, and District Director for then Congressman, Nathan Deal. These work experiences offered Jim the pleasures of serving the public and giving back to the people of his community.
Jim was ever the athlete. In high school, he was captain of his football team and excelled in baseball as well. In his later years Jim loved playing tennis more than eating pie and ice cream.
Jim demonstrated unfailing optimism and humor as he faced the most challenging time of his life. He was an inspiration to all who knew him. Jim will be remembered for his strength of character, his love of family and community and God. He will live on in the hearts of all of those he touched. Like ripples in a stream, may his memory, his love and good humor continue to live in the lives of others.
