CARBONDALE- James L. "Jim" Abendroth, 76, passed away Monday, July 26, 2021 at the University of Kansas Health-St. Francis Hospital in Topeka.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 31, 2021 at VanArsdale Funeral Chapel in Osage City. Military burial honors to follow service at Carbondale Cemetery. Family will receive friends Friday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital or DAV and sent in care of VanArsdale Funeral Chapel, 107 N. Sixth, Osage City, Kansas 66523.
