James A. Saunders

James A. Saunders, 89, a solid, humble man of integrity passed away on December 18, 2020. He resided in Anchorage, Kentucky and worked his entire adult life at The Pillsbury Company (formerly Ballard Mills) in Louisville and New Albany, Indiana in various positions, the last being as a shipping supervisor. He was born near Graefenburg, in Shelby County, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Norma L. Saunders. He is survived by his sons, Albert A. Saunders, of Louisville, Darrell L. Saunders (Susan) of Corbin, Kentucky, grandchildren, Julie Saunders, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Philip Saunders (Mary Neale) of Auburn, Georgia and a great-grandson, James Henry Saunders also of Auburn, Georgia. He was buried in a private ceremony on December 26, 2020 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
