Jackye was born March 22, 1922 in Greenville, SC. She had two sons, Richard and Roger Bollinger of North Carolina. She had two other sons from another marriage, Michael Stephen "Steve" Plunkett and Rodney Bruce Plunkett of Fort Worth, TX. Jackye was married to Cleo Earl "Pete" Petersen. She raised her granddaughter Michelle Plunkett. She passed away June 10, 1997 at the age of 75.
