Jacquelyn "Jackie" Inez Strickland Sweat was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She left this world on February 3, 2022, at the age of 83. She was born to Inez and JB Strickland in Valdosta, GA. After graduating from Waycross High School, she met her husband Wallace Seaborn Sweat. They moved to Jacksonville, where they settled and never left. She worked for American National Bank in San Marco for over 40 years. She devoted her life to ensuring happiness to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. A celebration of life is scheduled for Friday, February 11, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hardage-Giddens at 11801 San Jose Blvd. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Community Hospice.
