Jacqueline "Jackie" Duke Hightower, daughter of the late Carey and Addie Duke of Cedartown, GA, passed away Friday, March 11th 2022. Jackie is survived by her two children, Craig Hightower (Lynn) and Claire Evans (Tom); grandchildren, Geoffrey Hightower, Eli Evans and John Paul Evans; sister, Connie Wood of Carrollton, GA; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Hodge of Clarkesville, TN; several nephews and nieces. Jackie was a native of Cedartown, Georgia. She was born on November 11, 1936 in Putnam, CT. Jackie was a graduate of Cedartown High School and Emory University. Jackie volunteered with the Cedartown Junior League and for many years in her church. Jackie and her late husband, Harold, were married on March 25th, 1961. While living in Cedartown, Jackie and Harold were members at St. James Episcopal Church. Jackie was a devout woman of faith who enjoyed life, her family, her pets and traveling. Jackie was a devoted wife and a loving, wonderful mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. Condolences can be sent or viewed online at www.wagesfuneralhome.com.
