Jacob (Jake) Westmaas passed away unexpectedly on December 12, 2013, at his home in grant rapids.
Jacob was born to his parents Penny and Andrew Westmaas. on April 13, 1993.
After graduation from Northern Michigan Christian School, Jake went on to college at Calvin College, then graduated from Grand Valley University, with a degree in Environmental Studies.
In 2020 Jake married the love of his life, Sydney Bonner, and they lived in grand Rapids since then. They loved pets and had dogs Sara and Kiba, and their cat Boo Boo.
Jake loved the outdoors ad hunting. This fall he got a nice 10 point buck. He was also a talented musician, first learning to play several instruments, and later recording and producing songs he had written.
Jack is survived by his Mom, Penny Stilson Westmaas, and his Dad, Andrew Westmaas and his wife Mischele Westmaas, his deal sister Rachel Westmaas, Grand Parents Jerry and Marlene Stilson, and may aunts, uncles, cousins and loved ones.
Jakes Celebration of Life was held on Sunday, December 17 in Grand Rapids with 200 relatives and loved ones in attendance. He will be greatly missed.
