Jacob Quentin Roessner , 80 Dec 29, 1940 - Feb 8, 2021 Jacob Quentin Roessner, 80, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away, Monday, February 8, 2021, at his home.
Born Sunday, December 29, 1940 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Jacob Roessner and the late Jane Elizabeth (Artz) Lenhart.
He graduated from North Hagerstown High School in 1959. Quentin was employed with the Washington County Board of Education as Audio Visual Service Manager for 32 years.Quentin was a member of the B.P.O. Elks Lodge 378, Potomac Fish & Game Club, F.O.P. Thomas Pangborn Lodge #88, Red Mens Club Tribe 84 of Williamsport, MD, American Legion Post 222 of Clear Spring, MD.Quentin loved boating and motorcycles. He started riding a motorcycle when he was 16 years old and continued until he was unable to ride anymore.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ruby Hendershot Roessner; nephew, Erik Lenhart of Garrison, NY; niece, Anna Lenhart of Washington, DC; sister-in-law, Constance Lenhart of Hagerstown, MD; two special nieces, Diane Rowe of Williamsport, MD and Carolyn Koontz of Hagerstown, MD; two special nephews, Brian Miller of Clear Spring, MD and Barry Miller of Three Springs, PA.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Stephen Lenhart.
Private graveside services will be held at the Warfordsburg Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Warfordsburg, PA, with the Rev. Mark A. Sandell and Rev. Curtis Hendershot officiating.
