In elementary and middle school he loved building with Legos and created many of his own creations with friends. He started playing the violin in 3rd grade and continued throughout all of his school years, building some cherished friendships in orchestra. He played his violin for church meetings many times and also played in the orchestra pit for the high school musicals. He also enjoyed singing in Crimson Colony, the All-State choir, and participated in school plays. Jake was a great babysitter and favorite uncle. He spent many hours caring for his nieces and nephews. He loved adventures, camping trips, listening to comedians and podcasts, watching scary movies, and going to comedy shows with his siblings and in-laws. He was a great connoisseur of movie quotes and knew how to perfectly land a quote for any situation.%%%He worked many jobs including mowing lawns, construction, inventory and forklift driving for warehouses, and taught elementary orchestra and private violin lessons. After high school he enjoyed living with friends throughout Utah. He lived in Midvale at the time of his death.
