Jacklyn T. Nadeau, 72, of Berlin, passed away on November 22, 2023. She was born in Berlin on September 13, 1951, the daughter of Laurier and Jeanette (Lebrun) Bisson.
Jacklyn attended Notre Dame High School, and St. Louis Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of the AVH Auxiliary, and the board of the NH Association of Hospital Auxiliaries. She was trained as a genealogist at the Berlin Historical Society, where her books of families were her greatest joy, encompassing 23 years of work, tracing hundreds of Berlin families as far into the past as possible. Growing up, Jacklyn enjoyed spending summers at her parents' cottage at Cedar Pond.
Jacklyn is survived by her husband Walter Nadeau; her children, Daniel Nadeau, Marie Dubey, and Suzanne Smith; and sister Melinda Laflamme.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 9 - 11AM, with the service to follow at 11AM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin.
