Jackie Lee Eytcheson, Sr., 90, of Amarillo, died, Sunday, February 28, 2021, at his home in Amarillo. A Graveside Burial Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 4, 2021, under the direction of LaGrone Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, South Coulter Road, Amarillo. Reverend Andy DeHardt, Pastor of River Road Baptist Church, will officiate. Jack was born, September 6, 1930, in Fulton County, Indiana, to Violet Marie (Farrer) and George Dewey Eytcheson. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, 1 daughter, Bobbette, 1 sister, Jacquline, 1 grandson, Hunter Mercer, and many other family and friends. Survivors include 1 sister, Pamela Townsley of Albuqerque, NM, 4 children, Connie DeGodt (Margie) of Mansfield, TX, Danny (Sharon) of Ryderwood, WA, Jackie Jr. (Cathy) of Canyon, TX, Debra McGuire (Dan) of Trinidad, CO, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to the Amarillo Heart Association, 6605 W Interstate 40, Suite A6, Amarillo, Texas 79106 or to a charity of choice.
