He finished his career as Vice President of Crown Holdings. He always found time to help teach youth Football (Plains Yankees) and Baseball (Plains Little League). He was an avid Handball and Racquet Ball player winning many tournaments and developed into an accomplished Tennis Player and is still playing golf in Heaven.
Jack loved college football and his favorite team was always Notre Dame. He was a Mason and a Shriner, member of Savannah Country Club, ranger at Savannah Harbour Golf Club, and had his aviation license. He was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. As a Marine to the end, it was very appropriate for him to pass in the presence of his family on Memorial Day weekend. In lieu of flowers, please donate to "Tunnel To Towers" Foundation.
