Jack Earl Roberts, 84, of Three Oaks, passed away Friday, March 26, 2021 at his home in Three Oaks. The family will receive guests from 6-8pm, Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Swem Chapel, 301 W. Front St., Buchanan. A celebration of life service will be held at 11am, Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at the funeral home, proceeding to Galien Cemetery for burial. Memorial contributions may be given to the Berrien County Youth Fair c/o Thomas Roberts. Those wishing to leave an online condolence for the family may do so at www.swemchapel.com. Jack was born February 27, 1937 in Galien Township to Earl and Thelma (Norris) Roberts. Jack was a life-long farmer, specializing in dairy and crop farming as well as livestock hauling. He was involved with the Berrien County Young Farmers Association for many years as a past president and founder of the memorial building. He spent many years showing at the fair. He had a passion for rodeos and also had a unique collection of antiques, which included milk equipment and butter churns. Jack is survived by his children, Brenda (Dennis) Raterink, Theresa (Rick) Tubergen, Rita (Alex) Cowan, Rodney (Susan) Roberts, Thomas (Tami) Roberts, and Timothy (Cyndi) Roberts; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; and his sister, Janet DeRidder. He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Martha (Bailey) Roberts; his brother, Harold Roberts; and his parents.
