Jack Hoey, DMD, 83, of Sonoma, California passed away on Sunday, January 29th. He is survived by his loving family, friends, and a lifetime of extended dental family. We remember a wonderful man who lived a full life filled with joy, love, and a deep appreciation for the simple things. Jack was a man of few words with a quick wit, a love for the outdoors, and a passion for his craft: dentistry. Jack loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them while fly fishing, eating delicious food, and watching his beloved Alma Mater, the Oregon Ducks. He loved sharing his knowledge of dentistry, history, and the stories of his life with those around him. Jack left a legacy and impact that will be felt for many years. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Duggan's Mission Chapel in Sonoma on Monday, February 6 at 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Providence Hospice of Petaluma.
