Jack Haliburton, 85, of Lubbock, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021.
Viewing will be 10:00 am -5:00 pm Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Englunds. A Graveside Service will be at 11:00 am Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Englewood Cemetery in Slaton. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 2:00 pm Thursday March 25, 2021 at Indiana Baptist Church in Lubbock. Arrangements are by Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton. Social distancing and mask are required at the funeral home and church.
Jack was born March 4, 1936 in Grayson County, Texas to Reynolds and Lillian Haliburton. He moved to Southland in 1946 and graduated from Southland High School in 1955. Jack moved to Lubbock in 1968. He worked for Slaton Motor Company, Modern Chevrolet, Montgomery Ward and retired from Sears in 1998 after 19 years. He was active in every church he attended and was a member of Indiana Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his brothers, Bob Haliburton and Jimmy Haliburton; his sister, Mary Lou Haliburton and one grandchild, Joshua Mickler.
Jack is survived by his sons, Ronnie Haliburton and his wife, Jan of Bridgeport and Stacy Haliburton and his wife, Sandy of China Springs; his daughters, Hollie Haliburton of Lubbock and Renee Clare and her husband, Sam of Denver; his sister, Linda Ann Crews; nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
The family suggest memorials to the Children's Ministry at Indian Baptist Church.
