Jack Harry Clark Jack Harry Clark, most recently of Issaquah Washington, passed away on May 25th, 2022, from cancer. He was 75 years old.Jack was born and raised in Startup, Washington along with his twin sister Lynda, and older siblings Bonnie and Stuart. Jack spent most of his life in Cle Elum, Washington along with his husband, John Mosley. Jack served in the United States Airforce and was stationed in the Philippines during the Vietnam War. Through the years, he worked for Boeing, was a driver's education teacher, and various local businesses. Notably, he was owner of the aptly named coffee store "Jack in the Bean Shop." Jack and John built a loving community of friends in Cle Elum, before deciding to retire and travel full-time across the US and Mexico in an RV.Jack was an avid reader and writer. He wrote over 50 short stories and published his debut novel, Goshorn's Gold, in late 2021. This story depicts his neighborhood adventures in Startup, WA during the summer of 1958. This book exemplifies the humor, creativity and imagination Jack always brought to those around him.Jack is survived by his husband John, two children (Kelly & Dustin), two stepchildren (Scott & Greg), and grandchildren (Marlow, Reid, Alina, Evan, Adam, Trent, and Mia).His zest for life and fun was infectious. Jack will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts. There will be a potluck to celebrate his life from 1:00-4:00 pm on August 20th, at the Cle Elum Eagles.
