Jack Samuel Brusino, 89, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2022 in his Sevierville, Tennessee home.
Jack was born on July 4, 1932 in Niagara Falls, New York, to Joseph and Stephania (Sheusi) Brusino. The late Frank Ciluzzi became Jack's devoted stepfather following his father's passing in 1946. Upon graduating high school, Jack joined the United States Navy. He moved to Florida in 1960 to serve in the evolution of the aerospace industry. As a mechanical engineer, he worked at Cape Canaveral on systems and payloads of rockets developed and launched from the Space Center until his retirement in 1980. He raised his family in Brevard County but years later moved between homes in Melbourne, Florida and Sevierville, Tennessee to indulge his loves of the ocean and the Smoky Mountains.
Jack is survived by Helen, his loving wife of 41 years; her son, Harold Allen; his children (of former wife, Lois Page): Jacqueline Brusino, Karen (Charles) Colman, Frank (Allison) Brusino; six grandchildren: Michelle Johnson, Michael Johnson, Christopher (Jana) Colman, Jennifer (Michael Federline) Colman, Ariel (Timothy) Gilpin, and Jackson Brusino; and six great-grandchildren: Duncan, Jackson, Caiden, Chace, Ellie, and Isla; and daughters-in-heart, Doris Brusino, and Megan Garner. Jack was predeceased by his son, Thomas Brusino; and siblings, Nicholas (Marlene) Brusino, and Estelle (John) Porreca.
