J. Mark Rawlinson, 61, of Princeton, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021. He was born on January 23, 1960, in Princeton to John D. and Mary Elizabeth (Griffith) Rawlinson.
He graduated from Princeton Community High School in 1978, where he played first chair trumpet in the marching band. The marching band played at the inauguration of President Jimmy Carter in Washington D.C. and had won a national championship. Mark worked at the family owned and operated Nu-Gas for over 35 years and was a member of the Indiana Propane Gas Association. He was a member of Hillside United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir. Mark was a member of the Jaycee's, an avid bowler, and had a passion for cooking. He had an unwavering faith and incredible personality.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Rick Rawlinson.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy; daughter, Katee Rawlinson; son, Brock Rawlinson; step-daughters, Jennifer Kueber (Ben) and Brittany Williams (Keith); step-grandchildren, Braylin Williams and Hayden Kueber; brother, Mikel Rawlinson (Annette); sister, Mary Ford (John); as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Hillside United Methodist Church in Princeton officiated by Susan Carey; Burial will follow at Archer Cemetery in Princeton. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
