Iva Jean Biering McGrew Koger "Sallie", 81, of Johns Island, SC, entered into eternal peace, Thursday, November 24, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. Sallie was born by home delivery to Edward M. Biering and Mary Selma Cribb Biering on August 9,1941 in North Charleston, SC.
She is predeceased by her parents, her brothers Marion, Manley, Freddy, Tommy and Wesley and her sister Christine. She is survived by her life partner of over 50 years, Dwight R. Koger; her children Shawn A. McGrew, Sheryl Lynn Falcettoni, Stephen A. McGrew, Jana Leigh Koger Torrey; her bonus children Harold "Eddie" Jackson and Miranda Pritchard Wille; her brothers Henry E. And Harry L. Biering, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and an enormous amount of friends. Sallie was very much loved by all who knew her and will be missed immensely.
Sallie's Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM Monday, December 5, 2022, at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Highway.
