Our dear father, Irvin Chester Keefer Jr, 79, known by all who knew him as Duke, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 3rd, 2022.
Irvin was born November 15, 1942 in Barberton, Ohio. He had a passion for many hobbies throughout his life including hunting and photography just to name a few. But his one true passion was to share the word of God with everyone he spoke with. He would carry on a conversation for hours with anyone open to listening. He loved his family dearly, and always made sure to tell them how much every chance he had.
He is survived by his three children Deborah Longworh, David Keefer, and Deanna (Scott) Farner, his 3 step children Jackie (Jimmy) French, Craig Emch and Kati (Jessie) Emch. He also leaves behind his grandsons Brandon (Ricky) Keefer, Jason Keefer, Tyler and Jacob Farner and his granddaughter Ryleigh Farner and several great grandchildren, his sister Carolyn Rosenberger, and nephew Joe (Augusta) Jordan.
He was greeted at heavens gates by his wife Patricia Keefer, his parents Betty and Irvin Keefer Sr, his granddaughter Kayla, along with many other family & friends.
Calling hours will be held Friday February 11 from 11am-12pm followed by services from 12pm-1 pm at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave, Barberton, OH 44203
