Irene Alice Puccio, 96, of Manchester died peacefully on May 5, 2020 at Mt. Carmel Rehabilitation. Irene was born in Manchester on September 7, 1923 the daughter of Albert F. Poehlman and Alice M. (Duffy) Poehlman. Irene worked for many years as a nurse's aide at Hillsborough County Nursing Home. She was married to Charles J. Puccio who died May 27, 1995. Irene had a love of sewing, gardening, and socializing with family and friends. There was always food and conversation readily available. She was lovingly referred to as "Aunt Rena" by generations of family and friends. Irene will be deeply missed by her sons; Charles Puccio Jr of Hillsborough and Ronald Puccio of Bath, her daughters; Carol Johnson of Manchester and Cindi Rose Chagaris and husband Chris of Manchester, her grandchildren; Christopher Johnson, Angela Puccio, Meredith Puccio and Shawn Johnson, and her great grandchildren; Brendan Johnson, Bryce Johnson, Camren Haithwaite and Jax Puccio. She was predeceased by her sisters; Constance Opet, Doris Bobinski and Barbara Fellbaum. Due to recent events, services will be private for family only.
