On Friday, September 24th, 2021, Irene Petonic nee (Dulin) (96) of Cleveland, OH passed away. Beloved wife of the late James Petonic. Loving mother of Terry Petonic Beebe and the late Bill Petonic. Dear grandmother of Savannah, Cheyenne, Jimmy, Kayla, and Michael. Irene was always the one with a joke to tell and never shied away from the spotlight. She believed in walking on the bright side of life. Her younger years were spent working for Erie Lackawanna and experiencing an adventurous life as a beautiful young lady. She married her beloved husband Jim and they adopted two children and she committed her time to raising them and was always known as the "fun mom"! Irene was devoted to her Catholic faith and served and supported the church her whole life through. Irene loved to be out and about with her many many friends that she made so easily. She was lovingly cared for these last years by her niece Diana Fell, her sister in law Mary Hujer, and her nephew Larry Denney and his wife Jane. She will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure to know and love her. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 10 AM - 12 PM at Craciun Berry Funeral Home 7200 Detroit Rd. Cleveland, OH 44102. Funeral Service at 12 PM at the Funeral Home. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
