Irene R. Craig (Mullen), 80, of Danville, NH, died on Friday, May 28, 2021, at Exeter Hospital.
Born and raised in Winchester, MA, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Claire (Hodgkins) Mullen, and she was a graduate of Winchester High School, Class of 1959.
Irene worked in administrative services. For many years she was a secretary at the Boys Scouts of America office in Stoneham, MA and lastly, before her retirement, she was in the accounting department at Whittier Health.
In her retirement, Irene enjoyed spending her time working in her yard, reading books, cheering on the Boston Red Sox, and playing with her three cats Abby, Sam, and Cleo. She loved spending time with family, and was always ready and willing to lend a hand whenever and wherever needed.
Irene will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of thirty-six years, James "Jim" Craig (formerly of Ingram, PA), son, Philip Cioni and his wife, Maureen of St. Augustine, FL, daughter, Cheryl Smith and her husband, Timothy of Danville, NH, stepson, James Craig of Harwich, MA, stepdaughters, Elizabeth Palmer and her husband, Steven of Groton, MA, Martha Craig of Harwich, MA, ten grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her brother, Rev. H. Stanley Mullen, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am on Friday June 4, 2021, at St. Anne's Church, 26 Emerson Ave., Hampstead, NH.
