Help us celebrate Imogene! Please share your stories and photos, and invite others who remember Imogene.
Imogene was born May 2, 1930. She was the first of seven children born to Eugene Alonzo and Nolie (Matlock) Dempsey. Imogene and her family survived "The Great Depression" era. She often talked about the struggles that were complicated and were never the "Good Old Days." She remembered the family having to move often to sawmill towns for work. Imogene married her husband Melton "Snow" Williams at the age of 17. They were blessed with three daughters ( Regina Ann, Linda Marie, and Nancy Kay). Their Cushing home was the one that Imogene's brothers, sisters, and family members came to visit. She had a sharp mind and remembered a lifetime of family history. They came to hear her stories and to eat her home-cooked meals. Her life was a blessing, and her memories are now treasures. We will forever miss her. Imogene is preceded in death by her...
