Good Shepherd Funeral Home
Born in Rome, GA on March 17, 1937, to Jefferson F. Freeman and Hazel B. Branton, Hugh F Freeman passed away on November 13, 2022, at the age of eighty-five.
He married Nancy Marie Freeman Trammell on July 15, 1961. The two celebrated sixty-one blessed years together,
Hugh Spent many years in the grocery business and has been associated with Piggly Wiggly Stores of Rome and Freeman's Grocery.
Hugh is survived by his wife, Nancy, his son Joey Freeman, and his nephew, Marc Shiflett. In addition to his parents, Hugh is preceded in death by his son Jeffrey H. Freeman, his brothers Samuel Clinton Freeman, Henry Douglas Freeman, and J. T. Freeman, his sisters Mary Emma Mathis, Angela Irene Tinsley, and Betty Ann Chambers.
A visitation will take place at 5:00PM on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at the Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside Service is to be held at Eastview Cemetery located at 725 Kingston Ave NE, Rome, GA 30161 on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at 2:00PM.
